Beatrice Lee Coble Petrea

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Coble’s Lutheran Church, 5200 Coble Church Road, Julian. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall.

Bea was the youngest daughter of the late Shafter Lee and Annie Maude Coble of Julian, NC. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Raymond A. Petrea and her sister, Florence Berry.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Sylvia Petrea Greeson (David), Arleen Petrea, and Louisa Petrea Bowman; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In her free time, Bea enjoyed gardening, knitting, and volunteer quilting. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Greensboro, where she served and worshipped the Lord.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lutheran World Relief, P.O. Box 17061 Baltimore, MD 21297-1061.
