Billy "BR" Ray Hodgin, 64 of Staley, North Carolina passed away on Friday, January 10, 2020 at his residence.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Cecil and Reta Bunton Hodgin, Sr.; brother, Robert Cecil Hodgin, Jr.

Billy is survived by his daughter, Tracy Hawkins (Tim); son, Billy Ray Hodgin, Jr. (Candace); sisters. Shelia Frye (Mark), Linda Young (Keith), Peggy Black (Mike), Nancy Wright; brothers, Larry Hodgin, James Hodgin (Linda); granddaughter, Amaya Hawkins; grandsons, Noah Hawkins and Duncan Hodgin.
