Billy Ray Langley Jr.

Billy was a committed sportsfan, he enjoyed cheering on Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys, Duke Basketball, Michigan University Football, and WWE and WWF wrestling. He loved to go fishing at Jordan Lake.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Ledbetter Amador.

Surviving is his wife of 28 years, April Marley Langley; daughter, Marissa Dawn Langley; father, Billy Ray Langley, Sr.; grandson, Ian Andres Pena; granddaughter, Isabella Rose Pena; sisters, Connie Tzum (Juan) and Rena York (Miguel Flores); brothers, Jonathan Amador and Nicolas Agundiz; aunt, Diane Kiester (Mike); and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, June 11, 2026 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. He will be laid to rest in Liberty Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Liberty, NC.
