Blanch Madonna Lindley "Donna" McPherson

Donna was a beloved teacher's assistant at Liberty Elementary School where she poured her heart into all of the children in her care.

She was the daughter of the late Wade Coble and Treva Olean Terry Lindley and was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby McPherson; sister, Margaret Lindley Rogers; and brother, George Coble Lindley.

Donna is survived by her son, Eddie McPherson and his wife, Cindy; granddaughter, Brittni Whitesell and her husband, Justin; brothers-in-law, John Rogers and Gerald McPherson and his wife, Jenny; niece, Dawn Bazen and her husband, David; nephews, Tim Rogers and Jerry McPherson; great-niece, Lyndsey Melchior and her husband, Jonathan; and her "adopted son", Jeff Jordan.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liberty Elementary School, Attn: Lisa Langley, 206 N. Fayetteville Street, Liberty, NC 27298.
