I am sorry for your family’s loss of Brenda. May you rest on our Lord knowing she is not in discomfort anymore as my mother in law had Alzheimer’s and it is difficult.

God bless.

I was fortunate to have worked alongside Brenda for a few years at the H&R Block tax office. I would go in at noon and work until closing at 8:00. Brenda volunteered to prepare a noon meal for elderly and homeless she would come in after the regular receptionist left at 4:00 until closing.
Brenda had a close knit family and my thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time of loss.

peace,

One of Brenda's talents stemmed from a strong curiosity about family history and genealogy. While we communicated by mail and telephone, pre-FaceTime or Skype, of research on a particular family, Brenda took me to see the Polly Garrett Fogleman home place that is on the NC Registrar of Historical Homes. Another time, she and I visited a family graveyard off Barnhardt Lane, that had early grave stones of Fogleman's that dated to the late 1700s-early 1800s. Brenda was known for her true dedication in helping others, spending long hours that went on into the night or early morning so as to find their genealogical roots.

Thanks, my friend, for always helping others!

In Christian love,
Judie Fogleman Lewis
