Charles Leo Lovett Sr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, and burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Snow Lovett; son, Charles Lovett, Jr; sisters, Lovie Silas, Dovie Stote, Francis Little and Marcella Lovett; and brother, Ruel Lovett.

He left behind his children, Diane Brotherton, Donna Small, James Lovett, and Robert Lovett; grandchildren, Shaun Lovett, John Brotherton, Allan Small, Scott Small, Brian Small, Charles Lovett III, Todd Lovett, Jason Lovett, Rebecca Lovett, Cody Lovett, Jamie Lovett, Taylor Lovett, Dakota Morgan; and great-grandchildren, Holden Lovett, Chase Lovett, Joey Lovett, Tristan Haley, Tatum Lovett, Taelyn Lovett, Haisley McCormick, Coraline Small and Sydney Small.

Charles proudly served his country during the Korean War in the US Army. He went on to serve many years as a Deputy Chief in Brookfield, Massachusetts and plant superintendent at Worchester Controls.
