He was the son of the late Clyde Aaron and Edith Clapp Pierce and was also preceded in death by one brother, Howard Pierce.
Surviving is his sister, Linda Jackson and five brothers, Gene Pierce, Richard Pierce, Phil Pierce, Kerry Pierce and Bobby Pierce.
