Dear Helen and family,
How sorry i am to know Jay will not be with us here on earth any more. I know he is in his heavenly home and am comforted by that but he will be greatly missed by all who knew him, ...and at the Langley Reunion for sure. He was such a helper and a loving young man. He knew how to practice "Love your neighbor as yourself". I hope the love of family and friends comforts you as you manage without this sweet child of God. Billie and Bill

I am just now hearing of Jay's passing from my mother, Pat Langley Burke. I am so very sorry to learn of this. Jay was always so kind at the one occasion which I'd see him at yearly, the Langley Reunion. His presence will truly be missed! Aim praying that our mighty God will give you the peace and comfort you need at this time of loss.

Jay was a young man that if you grew up here in Liberty, you knew him. He was so loved not only by his family, but by the people in the town . He always greeted you with a smile and a big squeezy hug. It always made your day. I loved getting those hugs. He always made me feel important. He never met a stranger and was kind to everyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and felt his friendship. I know he is an angel up there in Heaven & he is with James, his father, back doing all those things they loved to do together. Much love to his wonderful family. Ellen Carter Luck

Jay was his "Uncle Garland's" hero. I came to know Jay through Garland and Judy. He was a real sweetheart and loved by all. Jay's dear family was so proud of him and showed so much love toward him.
Sorry I could not be there tonight to show my respect to the family, but please know each of you are in my thoughts and prayers.
To all the family I say Jay could not of had a better, more loving family toward him. To his dear mother, you will have many stars in your crown for the love and support you gave Jay. I know Garland and Jay's dad are rejoicing in his presence.
May each of you know the peace that can only come from God throughout this time in your life. Jay went "home" for Christmas. Love to all, Becky Carroll Stewart

Were very sad to hear about Jay. I always remember of how cheerful Jay was every time we saw him whether at the store or out to eat while in Liberty. May God richly bless the family during this time.

My deepest sympathies to Charlie's family, please draw comfort from James 4:8 which shows if you draw close to God, He will draw close to you. Veronica

Helen, Marty and Jamie, we are so sorry that we did not know about this, and were not there to express our sympathy in person. As you know, Jay was a "special" friend to our Chris, and we all enjoyed talking with him and his big hugs! Rest assured that he is enjoying time with his dad that he missed so much!
