Mr. Clyde Robert Hudson

Mr. Robert Hudson, 86, of Liberty passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 20th at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Aaron Moss. Mr. Hudson will lie in state at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

He is the son of the late George Clyde and Ola Smith Hudson and was also preceded in death by one brother, Hoyte V. Hudson.

Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Christine Johnson Hudson; two daughters, Nancy Perry and husband, Wardell of Liberty and Bobbie Payne and husband, Gil of Greensboro; one son, Billy Hudson of Liberty; one brother, Howard A. Hudson of Liberty; two grandchildren, Nathan Payne and Wendy Nelson and two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Natalee Nelson.
