The family will hold a memorial service in Doug's honor at Y'all Come Back Cafe in Liberty; date not yet decided.
Doug was the son of the late Curtis Douglas Hitt and Esther Flowers Hitt. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sara Jane Hitt.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory wife, Janice Tidwell Hitt; daughter, Tiffany Davis Flowers; sons, Douglas Curtis Hitt II and Thomas Lee Hitt.
