Ellon Naylor Hargis

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 20 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky River Baptist Church, 4436 Siler City Snow Camp Road, Siler City; burial will follow in Chatham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, Liberty and other times at the home.

She was the daughter of the late Boyd and Repsie Bass Naylor and was also preceded in death by sisters, Elgrith Michael, Lola Owen, Willa Strickland, and Lillian Moser and brothers, Vaden and Vernon Naylor.

Surviving is her husband, David Hargis; daughters, Joy Whitt, Joan Turner and Myra Hargis; sons, Curtis Staley, Tony Staley and Dennis Hargis; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Randolph Hospice House, 446 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
