Emily Blair Brown, age 71, of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at her home.

She always loved her family, her cats and her very close friends, Katherine, Aubrey and Becky; and she especially enjoyed working in her flowers.

Her graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2021 from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Harry Blair and Sue Karrar Dalton Blair.

Emily is survived by her husband of 9 years, Fred Brown; son, Derek Amos; step-daughters, Marie Brown and Lisa Hardy; sister, Jackie Linville (Vestal); brothers, Bob Blair, Eddie Blair and Stan Blair (Sharon); grandchildren, Madison White (Justice) and Jesse Amos; great-grandson, Tatum White; and several nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren.

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Healthcare and Hospice, 533 S. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.

Go rest high on that mountain Ms. Em....You were a good friend and stepmom and would be there if I ever needed made my daddy so happy when yall got married...he loved you so much...I'm glad you are not in pain anymore but you will be missed being here in to you always..and memories forever
