I have known Erma for most all of my adult life and at one time we were next door neighbors. No one could have ever had better neighbors than she and her husband, Utah were to me and my husband. They were always there when I or anyone else needed help. I would like the family to know that I am thinking of them and will keep them in my prayers.

Aunt Erma was a kind, sweet, humble and caring person throughout her life. She always found the good in people she met. She lived her legacy. Her memories will always be cherished.

Erma was a beautiful lady-always kind and welcoming. We worked a lot of summer days together on those long tobacco rows. She was one of the best cooks. She was very caring and she will be missed.

My Mawmaw will be missed. I have many cherished memories growing up of the times we spent together. I know she has touched many others over the years. Kindness, compassion, and warmth of heart.
