A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery, Liberty, NC.
She is the daughter of the late Henry Edward and Grace Marley McMasters and was also preceded in death by her husband, Wade Steven Light, Sr.; one sister, Peggy Parrish and five brothers, Cooney, Johnny, Carol, Spurgeon and Toot McMasters.
Evelyn is survived by her only son, Steve Light and wife, Susan of Liberty; two brothers, Howard Lee McMasters of Burlington and Dwight E. McMasters of Matthews and two grandchildren, Todd Light and Stefani Light.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
