A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Mitchell's Grove Methodist Church, 3511 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, High Point. The family will have a time of visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm prior to the service. Evelyn will be laid to rest at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Liberty.
Evelyn was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Dagenhart. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Nathaniel Humble and Thomas Marlowe; and sister, Barbara Kepley.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter, Lisa Humble Coggeshall (Jeffery); son, David Earl Humble; grandchildren, Rachel Reagan (Austin), Amanda Coggeshall and Virginia Coggeshall; great-grandchildren, Nathan Marsh, Zander Simmons and Allen Simmons; sister, Willie Barber; and brother, Vaughn Dagenhart.
