(The following is a copy and paste I bring from my Facebook post) Debbie, I am Aunt Frances's great nephew and the son of her niece, Eleanor. I saw your post last night (services are today). We were wanting to come but Mama has not felt well due to her chronic GI issues and needs to stay close to facilities when it flares. She wants Larry to know she wanted to be there, and will be in her heart. She started crying when she asked me to comment on your post. Thanks for tagging Jerry or else we may have not known. Every time we went to visit Aunt Frances these past few years she always would proudly say, after Mama told her who she and I were, that she has a niece named Eleanor and that her son was named Michael too. We loved the conversations as she recalled her life growing up in Anson county. I gathered broom straw from the field last night and was going to make an ornamental broom to bring to lay beside her grave as a gesture that her work here was finally complete. She would talk of hard work and the days when they used this type of broom to sweep the yards, yes, the yards. My mama said, "yes we did do that." They are so much alike. Both would be the "Martha" whose house Jesus stopped by, busying themselves in service and the care of others.
