He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughters, Lisa Hardy and Marie Brown; special bonus daughter, Kathy Snider; grandchildren, Robin Evans (Eddie), Ray Hardy, Rachael Holman (Nick), Phillip Brown (Autumn), Buddy Hardy, and Mariah Asbill (Carson); 13 great-grandchildren and two on the way; and sister, Ollie Herndon.
Fred was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He treated everyone like they were his own and loved spending time with his family. Over the span of 50 years, Fred enjoyed his work as a truck driver, most proud of driving for Branch Motor Express in Greensboro. In his free time, Fred enjoyed woodworking, and he would make rocking chairs, beds, and other special items for his family. He also had a love for collecting clocks and even passed some down to his great-grandchildren. Fred will be remembered as a hard-working, strong man.
