When I think of Cleo I think of the word Joy with a capital J. He, along with his friends, Jim, Gary, and Harold, played golf at Iron Play Par 3 golf course In our Senior League. They were know as the Barker Gang with Cleo the clear leader. They were always full of fun and joy and we at Iron Play were lucky to have them be part of the group. We were also lucky enough to see them square dance and of course to hear many of Cleo's jokes and stories. Cleo was one of a kind and I'm glad I got to know him and call him a friend. He left a lasting impression and he will be missed.

I only knew Cleo on the golf course but felt close to him. He was a "people person". He would bring sunshine to his fellow golfers on a rainy day. He lit up the room with his friendly chatter and wit
. We'll miss him but are sure he is square dancing in heaven these days. He was a man to be admired.

Cleo was a special friend to Homer and me. We shared so many good time with Cleo and your family. We loved the late night call to go for pancakes and getting the call for "watermelon". He was so supportive to me when I went through cancer. He will always be in our heart.
