A memorial service to honor George's life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 1:00 pm at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty; officiated by Pastor Jason Frank.
George was the son of the late George Whatley Sr. and Laurie Warnick Whatley.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory 3 sons, Michael Fredrick Whatley, Brent Bailey (Lynn Bailey), and Alex Ryan Whatley (Tonya); grandchildren, Dylan Whatley (Malorey), Mia Whatley, Emily Whatley and Ella Whatley; and one great-granddaughter, Ashton Whatley.
