Glenda Bunton Burton

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Moon’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Faw officiating; burial will follow in Staley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty.

Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Wilson Davis Bunton and her husband, Cecil Edward “Eddie” Burton.

Surviving are her sons, Jason Burton and his wife, Jessica and Justin Burton and his wife, Jamie; three grandchildren, Elijah, Jeremiah, and Hannah Grace Burton; mother, Helen Pike Guthrie all of Staley; and sister, Myra Martin of Ramseur.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Moon’s Chapel Baptist Church, Building Fund, 175 Moon’s Chapel Road, Siler City, NC 27344
