A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Tabernacle Methodist Church, 5721 Methodist Rd, Greensboro; officiated by Rev. Ronn McCracken and Rev. Joe Essick.
Glenn was the son of the late Broadus Atlas Griffin and Ruth Barber McCracken and was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy McCracken.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Fran Griffin; daughter, Julia Griffin Deltano (Keith); son, Allen Lanier Griffin (Denisa); grandchildren, Sawyer Deltano, Maeve Deltano, Jonas Deltano, Victoria Griffin McClellan (Ethan), Adam and Allison; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Oliver; and brother, Rev. Ronn McCracken (Angelia).
Glenn proudly served his country in the US Army from 1955-1958 and extended his service with the NC National Guard for several years. He was a faithful member of Tabernacle Methodist Church in Greensboro where he was a member of the choir. A true family man, Glenn was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather. He taught his children hard work and to put family first.
