Glenn Austin Vance

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Liberty, NC. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

Glenn was born November 16, 1928 in Lafayette, IN to the late Melvin and Mamie Vance.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Clarice H. Vance; his sons Grant Vance and Otis Richardson; sisters Elsie Thompson, Margaret Mitchell, Carolyn Vance; brothers Paul Vance, Kenneth Vance, John Vance and Melvin Vance.

He is survived by his daughters Mindy Vance, Marcy Vance-Bredengerd (John), Missy Vance and Trudy Maynard (Dallis); sons Gregg Vance (Margaret), Danny Richardson and Michael Richardson (Debbie); thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren;.
