She was the daughter of the late Claude and Perline "Pearl" Gannie Blackmon; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Blackmon; daughter, Betty Blackmon Moran; sons, Sammy and Jackie Blackmon; grandson, Jeffrey Blackmon; brothers, Billy Blackmon, Carl Blackmon, Jack Blackmon, Tiney Blackmon, Floyd Blackmon and Harold Blackmon; and sisters, Hazel Campbell and Dorothy Tollison.
Surviving are her sons, Danny Lynn Blackmon and Stanley "Pete" Blackmon; brother, Wayne Blackmon; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery, Liberty, NC.
