Irene McPherson Boyles York

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Christian Church with Rev. Howard Spray officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will received friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home of Larry and Dian Matthews.

She was the daughter of the late Blake and Gladys McPherson Boyles and was also preceded in death by husband, Charles “Pete” York.

Surviving is her daughter, Dian Matthews and husband, Larry of Siler City; son, Ernie York and wife, Kim of Burlington; six grandchildren, Eddie Matthews, Neil Matthews (Heidi), Julie Riggins (Shawn), Ashleigh Denny (Chris), Charlie York and Lindsay York; six great-grandchildren, Drew Riggins, Chase, Chandler and Caroline Matthews, May York and Chris Denny.
