Junius was a life member of Grays Chapel United Methodist Church and was a faithful servant to the Grays Chapel community; he was a member of the
Grays Chapel Lions Club and The American Legion Post #81.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 9 at 2:00 pm at
Grays Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Miller and Rev. Alanda Harris officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors provided by The Randolph County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 8 from 6:00– 8:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home.
He was the son of the late Issac Enolds and Gertrude Pugh Routh and was also preceded in death by his two sisters, Carletta Pugh and Margaret Julian.
Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Daisy Moore Routh, three daughters, Linda Price of Greensboro, Julie Morgan of Grays Chapel and Jill Howard of Summerfield; one son, John Routh of Grays Chapel; two brothers, Jimmy Routh and Thomas Routh of Grays Chapel; eight grandchildren, Stacy Masters, Jason Price, Erica Jenkins, Patrick Morgan, Cole Howard, Matthew Howard, Seth Routh and Savannah Routh and four Great-grandchildren, Sayde Masters, Ella Masters, Rylee Price and Jennings Morgan.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Hospice of Randolph County, especially, Bonnie and Wendy, Rev. Rodney Otwell and to Linda Wood, Pat Hill and Cindy Riley and all of those who gave of their time to care for Junius.
