Isabelle Margaret Fogleman Mancuso

Isabelle Mancuso, (the strongest woman we knew) passed this life on October 4, 2026, following a few months of declining health. Isabelle was with both of her daughters when she passed. Isabelle lived independently and was out and about until a couple of weeks prior to her death.

Isabelle was the daughter of the late Ross and Irene Fogleman and was also preceded in death by her sister, Deloris Fogleman. Isabelle's loving husbands, Marshall Presnell of Liberty Motors and Gus Mancuso of Kemp Furniture also preceded her in death.

Isabelle graduated from King's Business College in 1949 and thereafter began her career as a bookkeeper with Liberty Chair Company. In the late 70's, Isabelle began a new chapter as a credit counselor with Furniture Manufacturers Credit Association in High Point, NC. During her career, Isabelle traveled extensively and made lifelong friends with business associates in the furniture industry. Isabelle retired in the mid 90's. Isabelle remained active during her retirement, going on day trips and adventures with her best friends.

Isabelle is survived by her daughters, Bobsie and Harriet. She is also survived by her extended family; Aunt Barbara, Marshall, Elissa, Oscar Wilde, Carol, Dee, Lou Lou, Johnny, Nancy, Chuck and Steven, Honorary Sons, Peter & Billy; and Honorary Sister in Crime, Della.

Bravo, Izzy! A life well lived.

Thank you to all Randolph County Paramedics who assisted during this difficult time, Centerwell, Hospice of Randolph County & Piedmont, doctors and nurses at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital who, along with her daughters, were with her in her last moments on earth.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel.
