James "Froggy" Dwight Lankford

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Steve Moore; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

James was the son of the late James Arthur and Ruby Irene Arrington Lankford and was also preceded in death by his first wife, Claudette Westmoreland Lankford.

Surviving is his wife, Marlene Cummings Lankford of the home; Timothy Lankford (Beth) of Ramseur and Tracy Lankford (Laura) of Raleigh; step-daughters, Dawn Harris (Jimmy) of Siler City and Pam Lindley of Liberty; brothers, Dean Lankford of Greensboro and John Lankford of Liberty; seven grandchildren and his loving canine companion Miss Gracie.
