Ilene, I was so sorry to hear about Jim. He was the light of his Mother's life. Any conversation I ever had with her had Jim's name in it. I know how it is to lose a spouse. My husband, Ron, has been gone 12 years now and I still miss him so much. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Pam

We just learned today, Ilene. Old friends leave a big empty space even if we haven't been together much in recent years. You both looked so good at our last class meeting. Praying for the strength that only God can provide for you and yours.

Dear Ilene and family,
Just a note to tell you all that I am thinking of you during this difficult time. I am not sure if you remember me . Renee, my daughter was in your first grade class at Alamance in 1972. I , like you , was a very young mother (14) and you were so kind to me and my daughter, Renee . We have never forgotten you .

We lost Larry 7 years ago. We were married 47 years.

I am here in NC with Renee celebrating her first granddaughter!! Her oldest daughter is a teacher. She sends her love.

I am sure Jim will be missed, but I am just as sure he was blessed to have you in his life.

May God comfort you and bless you with precious memories.

Sincerely,
Sheila S. Beck
