Jean "Marie" York Justice

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 W. Swannanoa Ave., Liberty, NC. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, 7103 Sandy Creek Church Road, Staley, NC.

Marie was the daughter of the late Rass and Lily York and was also preceded in death by her son, Clinton “Punk” Cox; daughter, Suzie Hoffert; and sister, Minnie Beal.

She leaves behind her husband, Ricky Justice; daughters, Cindy Walker and Jennifer Cox; sons, Chuck Smith, Jackie Smith and Tony Cox; family friend, Tara Cazillaz; grandchildren, David Hernandez-Cox, Jose Rodriquez, Joni Nelson, Jamie Lonberger, Renee Garrett, Buddy Smith, Chris Smith, Kim Smith, Tammy Smith, Daniel Smith, Beth Cox, Hattie Cox, Kaitlin Cox, Ryan Smith, Brandon Cox, Miranda Barrett and Nicholas Barrett. Marie also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
