

He was a WWII Army Air Force veteran and while in the service he was a B-17 bomber pilot and prisoner of war.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery.
He was the son of the late Jennings, Sr. and Gladys Highfill Marshall and was also preceded in death by his son, Bruce Marshall; one brother and one sister.
Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Nathalie J. Marshall of The Friends Home at Guilford; one daughter, Gail Marshall Holmes and husband, Earl of Climax; daughter-in-law, Sarah Marshall of Liberty; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
At the family’s request, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405 or to Liberty First United Methodist Church, PO Box 220, Liberty, NC 27298.
