Joanne Smith Fox

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Liberty with Rev. Howard Spray officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 p.m. in the church.

Joanne was the daughter of late Lois Bost and Isidor Payton Smith, and was also preceded in death by her husband Willie H. “Bill” Fox, Jr.

She leaves behind special “adopted” daughters and son-in-laws, Sherry and Darren Stone and Sandra and Keith Ramer; grandchildren, Callie and Jenna Stone; sister-in-law, Anne Hackney, and her husband Jack; and loving neighbors, Carol and Howard Mullenax. Joanne also has many cousins who will miss her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Happy Hills Animal Foundation Inc., 3143 Happy Hills Drive, Staley, NC 27355.
