A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 20 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was the son of the late Benjamin Troy and Orpha Laura Faulkner Walters and was also preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Lee Walters; two sisters and three brothers.
Surviving are his daughters, Connie Ferguson (Melvin) and Jackie Brown (Sam) of Siler City; son, Jerry Walters (Annette) of Siler City; four grandchildren, James Mize (Shannon), Doug Mize (Christina), Katina Ferguson (Chris) and Joseph Walters and 10 great-grandchildren.
