He was preceded in death by his parents John Boyd and Marie Eplin.
He is survived by his daughters Leslie Damron of West Virginia, Roxanne Eplin of Greensboro; son Levi Eplin of Thomasville; sisters Sandra Hager and Donna Sparks; 7 Grandchildren.
