Juanita Wilson McPherson

Born September 2, 1922 to Walker and Eula Wilson she spent her childhood in Sanford, NC with her sister, Lucille and brothers, W.C., Al, and Max. After graduation from Jonesboro High School Juanita moved to Liberty, NC where she met and married the late Dace V. McPherson. They had three sons, Dace Jr., John and Bobby.

She was employed by Liberty Hosiery Mills, Liberty Furniture to and later attended King’s Business College. She retired from R.W. McPherson & Company in Greensboro where she was the office manager and bookkeeper until 1997. Juanita was a member of First Methodist Church of Liberty. Her devotion to family and her tireless work ethics for her deeming attributes. She enjoyed gardening, time with family and friends and always the chance to pass on a smile.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at the Mausoleum Chapel at Guilford Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 27, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

Juanita is survived by her sons, Dace Jr., John and Bobby; daughter-in-law Annaliese Witzky; five grandchildren, Sam and Erin McPherson of Texas, Cameron, Kyra and Kurt McPherson of Greensboro and great-grandson, Riley Jezek of Texas; brothers, W.C. and Max Wilson and their families as well as her sister’s family.

The family wishes to express their most heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Universal Healthcare for the kind loving care provided to our mother.
