She was the daughter of the late Alfred George Melzer and Mary LaBouve Melzer and was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Campanella.
Karin is survived by her son, Brian Campanella and his wife, Katie Ball; daughter, Amy Campanella and her husband, Steven Frey; two granddaughters, Evelyn Rose Frey and Abigail Maude Frey; and sisters, Renita Zeis, Pamela Eberhard, Marliza Melzer, Heidi Melzer and Christel Marcus.
