I remember Mr Cottrell coaching us in our soft ball league in Midland Michigan. We weren't the best athletes but he made it fun. So sorry he has passed away.

Dear Joan, Julie, Matthew, and family,
We were all saddened to hear of Ken's passing, it seems only last week we were going to baseball games and tournaments. Grandson Matthew and my son Matt played on several teams together, some of which I was privileged to coach. Baseball is a great game, but the memories of those times spent proved even more precious. Ken loved the game, and all that went with it. May God be your refuge and strength during this difficult time.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Ken. We worked together in the lab at Dow Corning Corporation. Ken was very bright, cheerful, kind, and full of happiness. I always enjoyed the stories he told that preceded that full-faced smile, and that adorable chuckle he had. I will miss him in my heart, even though I hadn't seen him in years. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. My God hold you and comfort you, and may you find peace beyond all understanding. (Shirley Hanson)

Dear Joann & Family,

I spent many hours with Ken at Blumenthals discussing many memories that both of us had & views on life & loves.

We kidded about therapies, the bad food, the good nursing staff, etc. I used to goad him into doing better on his walking & getting better. He was in the room next to me. I appreciated him & we talked a lot.

I was so sorry to see the notice in the newspaper & am offering my deep sorrow at his passing.

I'm still recovering myself & unable to get around right now.

My thoughts & prayers go out to you & your family & I have a deep appreciation of the sacrifices you made in his last days.

With love & a deep sorrow,
Richard Fiumara
