Kenneth "Ken" Vinton Young Sr.

Kenneth (Ken) Vinton Young Sr., 86, of Liberty/Greensboro NC went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2025. He was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Sara Smith Young and Kenneth Theodore Young and was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Young.

Graveside services will be held at Macedonia Cemetery, 5928 Macedonia Loop Road, in Liberty, NC on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

Ken was a devoted family man and is survived by his loving wife of 65.5 years, Clara Davis Young, his daughters, Judith Faggart (Dr. Rev. Bryan Faggart) and Sandra Young, sons, Kenneth Young Jr. and David Young and his granddaughter Katherine (Meredith) Faggart. He was a career circulation manager in the newspaper industry and a Gideon in Christ’s service.

The family would also like to thank Ken’s many CNAs at Southeast Home Care, and AuthoraCare Hospice for their loving and compassionate care during his time of need.
