

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Climax where she was a member of the choir, the Adult Fellowship Class, the Friendly Club, the Arlene Stokes Circle, and served as a Trustee and a Sunday School Teacher and as an officer of the District United Methodist Women.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Charles Hutchens officiating; burial will follow in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.
Louise was the daughter of the late Howard Lee and Inez McKinney Frye and was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Frye.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years, Oatha A. Frye of the home; sons, Edwin A. Frye of Pleasant Garden, Jeffrey L. Frye (Angela) of Haw River, and Marty B. Frye (Jeanna) of Liberty; sisters, Jane Chamelin of Climax, Ruby Burns of Greensboro and Judy Frye of Creedmoor; brother, Charles Frye (Dorothy) of Greensboro; grandchildren, Jeffrey Frye II (Nicole), Megan Jarman (Josh), Danielle Jones (A.J.), Candace Frye, Corinna Patrick (Eddie) and Bryson Frye; and great-granchildren, Kaitlyn, Braelyn, and Kinsley.
