Lucy Pauline Langley Bowman "Polly" Collins

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Loflin Funeral Home, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; entombment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC.

Polly's first love was her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She retired from Southern Bell after 33 years of service. She was an artist, oil painting was one of her favorite hobbies. She enjoyed spending her winters in Florida. Polly also loved volunteering at the Bargain Box in Liberty.

She was the daughter of the late Dewey and Lena Walters Langley and was also preceded in death by two husbands, Earl H. Bowman and Melvin Collins; sister, Lois Cox; brother, Charles Langley; and great-grandson, Gavin Cain.

Polly is survived by her daughter, Deborah Southern and husband, Ronnie; sons, Earl H. "Harry" Bowman, Jr. (Rita Capps) and Steve Bowman and wife, Laurie Jo; grandchildren, Michelle Bowman Cain (Mitch), Jason Bowman (Melissa McNamee), Austin Bowman (Jessica), and Cody Gardner (Maelin Manalo); great-grandchildren, Kolton Cain and Elin Cain; and brother, Jimmy Langley (Sylvia).

At the family's request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 533 S. Fayetteville Street, Asheboro, NC 27203.
