She will be laid to rest privately at Pleasant Hill Christian Church Cemetery.
Madelyn was the daughter of the late Alexander and Alice Warner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Mack Almond, her daughter, Kathy Almond Hall, and her sisters, Sandy Sapp and Jeanette Warner.
Madelyn leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Kenneth Mack Almond and Kevin Lee Almond; daughter, Karen Almond Brooks (Scott); eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Christian Church: 1712 Pleasant Hill Liberty Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
