Margaret “Sally” Bowman Nixon, 81, of Liberty passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park with Pastor Jason Frank officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty.

She was the daughter of the late Gordon and Mary “Susie” Staley Bowman and was also preceded in death by her great-grandson, Calahan Mosby Nixon and her brother, Robert “Buddy” Bowman.

Surviving is her son, Jimmy Ray Nixon (Barbara Jean Smith); grandson, Tyson E. Nixon and his wife, Denise; and sister, Louise Bowman Kirkman and her husband, Richard.
