Mary Genevieve Brown Allen

A funeral service will be held, Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 2pm at Bethel United Methodist Church, 3809 New Salem Road, Climax, NC with the Reverend Tom Jolly and Reverend Sandy McNeil officiating. Burial will follow in the Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6pm – 8pm at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty, NC.

Genevieve was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father, Ollie Brown; mother, Lillie Wood Brown; brothers, Wayne Brown and Duard Brown. She was also preceded in death by her son Michael Allen.

Genevieve is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Raymond L. Allen of Climax, daughters Brenda Cranford (Aaron) of Asheboro, and Sandra Patterson (Wesley) of Randleman; sisters Blanche Snider and Louise Campbell, both of Climax; brother Terry Lee Brown of Climax; daughter-in-law Donna Allen of Apex; and four grandchildren.
