Mary Lou Rea Walters Kidd

Mary Lou Rea Walters Kidd, 94, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Chatham Hospital in Siler City.

Mary Lou was a kind and loving spirit. She loved the Lord and read her Bible daily. She constantly had a smile on her face and love in her heart. Mary Lou was a special wife, mother and friend and will be missed dearly.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Rocky River Friends Meeting with David Hobson officiating; burial with follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home in Liberty.

Mary Lou was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Elsie Smith Rea. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Walters; sisters, Dee Ellison, Mae Holt, and Jo Tuggle; and brothers, Junior Rea, Jimmy Ray, and Phil Rea.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Kidd; daughter, Vicki Walters; son, Sammy Walters; brother, Jack Ray; and long-time friend, Mattie Jackson Stutts.

Loved seeing my aunt mary lou every few months. She was always kind and smiling. When i lost my grandma ( her sister) i found comfort in her warm hugs and our talks. She was a blessing in my life and Im going to miss her dearly
