Mary Ellen Apple Smith, 72, of Randleman passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Randolph Hospital.

A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from prior to the service from 2:30 until 3:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home.

Mary was the daughter of the late Kemp Carlyle and Rose Ellen Farlow Apple and was also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Kemp Apple.

She is survived by her husband, Grady Douglas Smith and two sisters, Patricia Congdon and Kathryn Apple.
