Mary was the daughter of the late Robert and Emma Snipes, and was also preceded in death by her sisters, Agnes Franklin and Polly Snipes, and brothers, David, Charles and Calvin Snipes.
Surviving is her husband of 51 years, Russell Stephens; daughter, Andrea Stephens Branch, and her husband, Troy; son, Robbie Stephens, and his wife, Pam; grandchildren, Stephen, Hunter, Lacey, Bryce, Tyler, Bryan, Corey, and Brendon; one great-grandchild, Marihya; sisters, Fannie Dubose, Dorothy Condrey, Barbara Whitworth, and Brenda Hall; and brothers, Oakley and Pete Snipes.
