

Mrs. Hinshaw worked for Liberty Hosiery Mills as the manicurist for many years and later worked as a police dispatcher for the Liberty Police Department until her retirement. She had a passion for First United Methodist Church – Liberty and served in many different positions through the years. She was an excellent cook and baker; a good friend who cared for all who needed assistance during trying times. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who will truly be missed.
A graveside funeral service will be conducted at Fairview Cemetery on Thursday, October 29 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sandra Ireson officiating. There will be a reception for friends and family following the service at the First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall.
Mrs. Hinshaw was the daughter of the late Robert Conrad Palmer and Callie Smith Palmer and was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence M. Hinshaw; daughter, Barbara H. Kivett; brother, Ned P. Palmer; sisters, Sylvia P. Stevens and Jewell P. Kimrey.
Surviving is her daughter, Linda H. Fogleman and two grandsons, Clifton Kivett and Brad Fogleman all of Liberty.
