Ola Josephine Rierson Foster

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 3572 West Greensboro Chapel Hill Road, Liberty with Rev. Andy Clapp officiating; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Ola was the daughter of the late James William and Beulah Kimrey Rierson and was also preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Foster, Jr.

Surviving is her daughter, Shirley Mae Foster Black; grandchildren, Charlotte Black and William Black and his wife, Ashley; great-grandchildren, Hailey Riley and David Black; step-great-grandchildren, Katrina Carter and Jordan Carter; sisters, Frances Elliott and Sarah Bowman and her husband, Leo.

At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Alamance Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27217.
