Dear Kathy, I am so very sad and sorry to hear of your loss. Eventually may the peace Pete has found be felt in all your hearts.
I remember when you two started dating, and then later the wonderful dinners, mostly at your house and cooked by Pete. He had so many talents. I was so jealous of all your gardens he created and the home improvements he did. You were so well suited to each other and had so many hobbies and interests in common.
I can't imagine what you are going through, my heart goes out to you and the whole family. You will all be in my prayers.
Much love, Anne

I didn’t know Pete really having met him only once. But yet I know he was a wonderful man because I remember how transformed Kate became when they started their relationship and how happy he made her. Kate, dear Kate, I am so sorry that this sweet joy has been taken from you. I pray for you and Pete’s family that the horrible pain of his loss will be soothed by loving memories and glimpses of the legacy he left in his art and your farm. My heart truly grieves for you. With love, Marianne Barbaz

I'm Kathy's niece and I only had the pleasure of meeting Pete one time when they came to visit us in Alabama. He was such a delight and I could see how happy they both were...I must say he was very impressed with the shrimp salad my mom had made and the garden that we had.
Now Pete and my mom are together in gods hands.
My sincere condolences to the family and to my Aunt Kathy.
Love and blessing
