Raymond George Grass Sr.

A private memorial service will be held.

A native of Rochester, NY, he was a lifelong Catholic, a WWII Army veteran and worked in the banking industry in both, Laurinburg, NC and Franklin, TN.

He was the son of the late George Marcus and Teresa Becker Grass and was also preceded in death by two wives, Ruby Gibson Grass and Mary Anne McClendon Grass; one daughter, Teresa Ann Grass; one sister and two brothers.

Surviving is his son, Raymond George Grass, Jr. (Carol); two daughters, Pamela Grass Shaw (Dennis) and Priscilla Grass (Stuart); five grandchildren, Lori, Lesley, Mark, Laine, Raymond III; and three great-grandchildren, Mary, Annie and Caleb.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1219 2nd Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37210 or St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 512 West Wainman Avenue, Asheboro, NC 27203.
