RD has been a part of my life since I was born since Betty was my mama's college roommate. He has like a favorite uncle. I have so many memories too numerous to count. All I can tell you is, I always knew that if we needed him, he would come running. I know that he would give us the shirt off his back and he always said what he thought and he always salted his food before he tasted it! :) I will miss knowing that he is in this world with me but I am glad that his is with the Lord, making him smile and having a good ole time with my mama and daddy! RD, I love you and Chuck and Callie love you! You will be missed! Betty, you are always in our hearts and have our love. Sharon, Chuck and Callie

I have enjoyed my many days when we stopped briefly to chat or to realize the Bowman name was closely shared by both of us. A pillar of a man quietly walking.
I will miss those brief conversations at lunch at Kidd's but realize you are in a much better place. My sympathies to Mrs Betty Bowman.
